The Government believes that the Pupil Premium, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities for children from all socio-economic backgrounds.
Special Educational Needs
We are an inclusive school and we believe that every child can achieve success with support and nurture.
Coronavirus Catch-Up Premium 2020 – 2021
The school received £2,057.
The grant has been spent on additional Teaching Assistant hours to carry out one to one and small group interventions where pupils need them.
The effect of this has been assessed by comparing pupil attainment and progress using our comprehensive tracking system.
All schools receive funding to ensure high quality sports provision.
Safeguarding of Children
All staff have a duty to report any concerns about children to the school Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who in turn may be required to pass these concerns onto Social Services or the Police. If you have any concerns about a child at the school please pass them onto the DSL, or in their absence, to Miss Dolan or Mrs Jolley. Please refer to The Pilgrim Federation safeguarding policy for more information.
